# Basic Questions
These question types are the most dynamic and are used to cover a wide range of questions
1. Ensure the Question types are displayed by selecting the Question types drop down

2. The first is a "Text" Question
A test question allows you to ask any free-form question, with a text-based response

3. The placeholder creates greyed-out text in the answer box, a good way to provide an example answer to a candidate

4. The placeholder text will appear as so:

5. By selecting this drop-down, you can change the answer type for the text function

6. Long text will create a slightly larger text box

7. The text editor function will create a text box that is much more customisable with formats such as bold, bullet points, text placement, etc.

8. The Number question type conly allows candidates to add a number value as an answer
You can append it with something like a £ sign as shown below

9. You can also add a unit of measurement

10. Or you can append with a specific value or metric

11. The next question type is a unique choice, the candidate can only choose one of the available options

12. From the field settings, you can input multiple options for the candidate to choose from

13. The "Multiple Choices" question type is similar to the Unique Choice type except candidates can select more than one option

14. Once again, use the Field Settings to input all the relevant options

15. The "Yes or No" question types only allows a single choice of two options

16. You can select the "Change text" toggle to change the answers from "Yes" &"No"

17. The "Dropdown" question type allows you to select a single option - similar to the unique choice question type

18. Also like "Unique Choice", you can input the desired values or text for candidates to choose from the drop down

19. A "Rating Question" will allow a candidate to give a rating answer, it automatically uses a star rating system

20. You can change this from a star rating to a number scale

21. You can change the "max rating" on both scales to include as many numbers as you would like

22. The "Survey Table" allows you to get a rating for several different areas in one question

23. On the Field settings for this, you can edit the content the survey is measuring and also the the name of each answer type

24. You can also add the score level for each part of the survey, allowing for a final score

25. The "Date Picker" question type is good for picking a date and/or a time that is required. You can also select a date range.

26. By selecting the Type dropdown in the Field Settings, you can choose between a Time, Date or Date & Time

27. To get a Range, toggle on this Range switch

28. The "Attachments" Question Type is to allow a candidate to upload a specific file/document

29. You can use the "Specific Documents" dropdown in the Field settings to request a specific file

30. The "Image" question type is to include an image of your choice in the form. This is non-editable by the candidate

31. To add the image, upload a JPEG to the box below. You can also select the size (Small - Medium - Large) and the Alignment (Left - Right - Centre) to position the image to your specifications

32. The "File" Question Type is a way to provide candidates with a file to download from the form

33. You can upload the necessary File in the Field settings, and you can give instructions needed for the downloaded document

34. The "Information" Question Type is one of the most used. It displays information about the form to the candidate.
There are 4 Information types to choose from in the Field Settings - Warning, Information, Plain Text, and Neutral

35. The plain text function has no background and is just black text

36. The information setting creates a purple banner with an "i" symbol

37. Neutral is plain text on a grey background to subtly stand out

38. The warning banner is orange with a "!" symbol to highlight the importance of your message

39. Page breaks will allow for a break in the form, turning it into separate pages

40. The signature Question Type requires a written or finger-signed style signature from the candidate to acknowledge the form

# Pre-Built Questions
This section of question types are pre-built into the system and cover most of the basic questions asked of a candidate applying for a role
41. The Title question type creates a drop down of titles for the candidate to select from e.g. Mr, Mrs, Ms, Dr etc

42. A plain text question asks for the candidate's first name

43. A plain text question asks for the candidates middle name

44. A plain text question asks for the candidates last name

45. A plain text question asks for the candidates preferred name

46. A dropdown question asks for the candidates nationality, listing all possible countries

47. This question simply asks the candidate's sex as a unique choice

48. The address question covers the entirety of the candidates address, including country

49. You can toggle the Address question to ask for their personal address

50. This question collects the candidates Phone Number and ensures a number value is inputted

51. This question collects the candidate's Mobile Phone Number and ensures a number value is inputted

52. This question collects the candidate's Home Phone Number and ensures a number value is inputted

53. This question is a plain text question asking for the candidates email, ensuring an @ value is added

54. The Emergency Contact Question Type gathers all necessary information for a candidate's Emergency Contact/s - They can add more than one if necessary

55. The Next of Kin Question Type is similar to the EMergency contact and again, more than one contact can be added

56. The National Insurance (UK) Question type collects only a Valid NI number

57. The Personal Public Service Number (ROI) Question type collects only a Valid PPS number

58. The Date of Birth Question type asks for a date input of the candidate's DOB

59. A Reference question type collects both personal and professional references from a candidate

60. This is a dynamic and important question so ensure to check the Field Settings

61. Clicking on the 'Required' toggle allows you to ask for more than once reference and the question cannot move on with the form or submit it without completing them

62. Here you can see the 'Require References' counter is now activated and can be adjusted with the '+' or '-' symbols

63. You can also toggle which references you require in this section

64. The Work History question type collects all the necessary information needed from a candidate's work history

65. The Education question type, collects all necessary educational history from a candidate

66. The Bank Details question type runs a check on the details provided to ensure their accuracy for payroll

67. You can also specify which bank details are needed from the Field Settings

68. The Marital Status question type is a dropdown question asking if the candidate is single, married, in a civil partnership etc.
